Microbiological Analysis

ISO 7 Cleanroom
• Environment certified and prepared for the handling of Class II microorganisms and / or products that require complete sterilization and control of existing particles.

Bacteriological and Fungi Greenhouses
• Determination of the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and minimum bactericidal concentration (CBM) of antibacterials against bacterial strains isolated from different animal species;
• Study of the evaluation of drug interaction (synergism), through the Fractional Inhibitory Concentration Index (ICIF);
• Quality control of products for registration and/or short and long term stability studies;
• Counting of viable aerobic and anaerobic mesophilic microorganisms;
• Total count of molds and yeasts;
• Counting of thermotolerant and total coliforms;
• Detection of heterotrophic bacteria in water;
• Research and identification of pathogens in non-sterile products and raw materials.

Biosafety Booth

Freezer- 50 °C
• Maintenance of a bank of strains isolated from several bacterial and fungal species, and acquired from standard collections (ATCC, NCTC, WDCM);
• Determination of the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of antibacterials against bacterial strains isolated from different animal species;
• Study of the evaluation of drug interaction.
